Teleportation[]
- Placing a lot of slopes vertically upwards causes the player to teleport.
Dual Portals[]
- If you start in single mode, then put a dual portal rotated vertically 90 degrees, with 2 spaces up, your inverted icon will spin.
- If you start in dual mode, then do the same as above, except you put the Single Portal. A shadow of your secondary icon should appear.
Frames[]
- The game can very rarely skip 5 or more frames, so the level will be missing at least one space of rendering.
hz[]
- If you have different hz, such as: 240hz and 60hz, in 60hz, you might not be able to pass a double spike in mini mode.
- In 144hz, your trail is rarely visible.
Follow Triggers[]
- Placing a Follow trigger or Follow Player Y trigger and putting a value higher or lower than 2.00 or -2.00 will cause the slider to go out of the range.
Big Pulse[]
- If you start a level with very low volume or with muted volume, and if there is a loud stomp in the music, the pulsating objects will be massively big (this includes the wave trail.)
Level Mix?[]
- Spamming the right, or left arrow key and pressing Space and left-clicking quickly, there is a slight possibility that you will enter a glitched level in where you are unable to jump, there is a wrong song; after the first attempt, the song will change and the game will skip most of the level. Trying to pause will crash the game, because the level has 2 names.
- The same thing happens with The Challenge, except that the attempts will not switch.
Copycat[]
- Spamming the space bar on the title screen will glitch the game; every three levels there is Stereo Madness and you can not play any of these levels.
Soft-locking[]
- If you enter either an official level or online level, press Back or Escape quickly. If you press the square/minimize, then after switching to Geometry Dash, you will hear the level's music. Eventually, the cursor will be invisible.
- The second way to do this is to click "Get It", or "View" and the spacebar at the same time. The effect is that you will soft-lock the game, while hearing the level's music. The only way to get rid of this is opening Task Manager and ending GeometryDash.exe.
Wrong Song![]
- Pressing "Play" in The Challenge and the "Back" button at the same time, it is possible to have the menu music in The Challenge. The menu music exists as a custom song, trust me. :)
- Pressing "Play" in The Challenge and the "Basement" button at the same time, it is possible to have the Vault of Secrets music in The Challenge. Unlike the menu music, the Vault of Secrets music is not a custom song.
- The same bug happens when you press the Treasure Room button, and the Vault of Secrets button in the Create/Play Online Levels menu and vice versa.
First Click = None[]
- Pausing while holding, and then releasing, and unpausing, your first click/tap will not be registered.
Checkpoints![]
- Entering Practice Mode while a Transition trigger is applied, and putting at least three checkpoints will make them twice as large, or invisible.
Stack Overflow[]
- Entering 2147483648 or any number above 2147483647, then copying the level, will cause a stack overflow making the 32-bit integer negative. However, it is a bug, where you keep copying it, it will keep adding hyphens, instead of the number getting smaller and smaller.
When Robots Fly[]
- Placing a three-block tower in a range of three blocks, putting a Gravity Pad in the first tower and holding at the same time the robot touches the blue pad, it will walk in air for three blocks.
Mini Mode?[]
- Enter a Robot portal using a dash orb, then put a cube portal on the general way. If you let go of the dash orb to go to the Cube portal, your cube will be 3% smaller.
Are Spiders Fun?[]
- Teleporting your Spider to the Mini portal will face your Spider in the opposite direction. Teleport again, and you got rid of it.
White Icons[]
- If you place a checkpoint in a Dash Orb, then crash, your icon will remain white until the action is done again.
- If the start of the level is a Dash Orb and you hold at the very beginning of your level, your icon will remain white until the action is done again.
- In every other attempt than your first attempt, if you teleport your spider at the very beginning of your level, your spider remains white until you teleport it again.
Oh No! Too Loud![]
- Clicking the Facebook icon, and quickly switching to Geometry Dash will either turn up your volume to the max, or the menu screen is stuck for a few seconds.
Touch Triggered? Spawn Triggered?[]
- Placing a Touch trigger, or a Shake trigger, then pressing Touch Trigger and Spawn Trigger, you can completely mess up the values, for example: Touch Triggered cannot be multi-activated, but there appears a Multi Activate option.
Editor = Enabled, Level = Enabled[]
- Placing a trigger that is spawned by a Spawn trigger, and checking Editor Disable in the Spawn trigger configuration menu, the editor still recognizes the Spawn trigger as completely enabled.
Interval![]
- Attempting to click the number box in the Interval slider for the Shake trigger, the range goes to the end, regardless if you max the Interval out or not.
