The Mechanic is a shop in Geometry Dash, Geometry Dash Lite, and Geometry Dash World, being introduced in Update 2.2. It is accessed by selecting the third hanging rope located on the last screen of the Treasure Room, requiring 2,000 diamonds to gain access.
Description[]
The Mechanic uses mana orbs as currency to purchase various Icon Kit items, and a special Music Customizer that enables the selecting of any downloaded music to play instead of the main menu theme or during practice mode. The Mechanic is also the only source of ship fires and icon animations. The Mechanic is run by the Mechanic. As of Update 2.201, 378,000 mana orbs are required to purchase every available item.

- Update 2.201 had item prices changed:
- Icon prices were reduced by half of their value over 4,000 mana orbs; for example, icons costing 10,000 mana orbs prior to the update now cost 7,000 mana orbs.
- UFO 132 received a larger price decrease, having its price reduced from 10,000 mana orbs to 6,000 mana orbs
- Shipfire prices were reduced from 30,000 mana orbs to 20,000 mana orbs.
